How long have you been a paralegal? 20+ years, yikes!

What do you most enjoy about being a paralegal? The relationships that are formed with clients.

What do you find to be most challenging? Constant interruptions.

What skills are most important for a paralegal? Organization, diligence, flexibility and follow-through.

Any tips on job retention for a paralegal working in this trying economy? Be efficient, effective and exact.

Finally, tell us what you enjoy doing in your free time? I am actively involved in leadership in the Junior League of Atlanta (and formerly in San Diego), a women’s volunteer organization that has been positively impacting the Atlanta community for almost 100 years. I also volunteer at Zoo Atlanta (where I hope to become a docent), and support the Atlanta History Center, Atlanta Botanical Gardens and the Atlanta Ballet. I am constantly amazed by the incredible people, history and culture that abound in Atlanta!
